Hi, about 10 years ago, I bought a Yunnan Steam Pot in a shop nearby
AngMoKio bus interchange. Another of my family member also bought one
much earlier somewhere in China Town. However, I broke my and I went
back to the same shop and they don't have it. I am wondering if anyone
know where in Singapore or Malaysia I can buy one? Thanks.

Do you have a sketch or picture of the item, and was it a electrically
mode driven?. And what was it for - is there any specific type of
steaming pot in it.?

The name of this steam pot is call "Yunnan Steam Pot." They were
available in "pot, pan and kitchenware" stores in Singapore many years
ago. Outwardly it look like any clay pot steamer or clay pot cooker
except, this clay pot have a hole protruding upward from the center
inside of the clay pot. It's either "red" or "beige" in colour, with
Chinese words and pics on the outside.

Are you sure you have seen it and can you tell me which shopping mall
you have seen it?

Thanks

Any other shops beside Sin Huat you seen it? The reason I ask, I was
in Temple street looking around and cannot find it. They're a few
types I have came across elsewhere. Some are rounder, and higher, you
will need a bigger steamer to accommodate it. I am looking for a
"flatter" type.

Thanks :-).

I had nice Yunnan Chicken Steam Pot soup at Hong Kong's MongKok Yunnan cuisine
shop nearby Langham Place. Forget about buying pots and pans just goto Hong
Kong for Yunnan delicacies.

I have search the web and I found a picture with the clay pot cover
open. This particular one is "taller" I prefer the "flatter" ones.
