Singaporean is too easily be bullied.
A tourist fare card (temp. EZ-link card) cost only
$1 and is refundable.
Is there justification to charge $5 fee for the EZ link
card ?
People who travel on buses and MRT are the poor
Singaporeans  the  students and workers. To these
people, $5 means they have to forgo two meals.
The government should put a stop to such unscrupulous
extortion by SMRT and SBS. There is no justification
for collecting a $5 fee from poorest of  Singaporeans.
$5 of kopi money out of everyone....for sure.......

It appears that come Singapore businesses have no competitive spirit. In
this near monopoly of transportation, these cards are priced that it is your
cost to hold the card rather than the cost of he corporate to have your
business.
